The DropStack is an innovative feature that allows you to efficiently collect files and folders. It serves as a temporary collection point for your files and folders, which you can then process further with another program.
How DropStack Works
Add Files and Folders:
Drag and drop the desired files and folders into the DropStack area. You can add as many items as you like to prepare them for later processing.
Launch Program:
Once you have collected all the desired files and folders in the DropStack, they will be passed to the next program launched with Start.
Use Cases
- File Compression:
Collect files in DropStack and pass them to an archiving program to compress them.
- Image Editing:
Place image files in DropStack and launch an image editing program to edit all collected images simultaneously.
- Data Conversion:
Use DropStack to gather files and then start a conversion program to change the files to another format.
Tips:
- Pin the main window so it does not close when Start loses focus. This allows you to easily fill the DropStack with different entries.
- You can remove entries from the DropStack by right-clicking on the stack.
- If you drag additional entries onto the DropStack, they will be added to the stack.
